The Lower Bristol Road runs along the edge of the Twerton Ward Boundary, but also extends through Westmoreland and Widcombe Wards.
The Twerton ward runs from the traffic lights at McDonalds along through to the Globe dual carriageway.
A number of businesses have buildings on this road including Curo who have their main offices based at The Maltings with St John’s Ambulance in the same area. There is also the Archway Café on the main road with the Carer’s Centre, Enterprise Car Hire and the Bus depot on Weston Island that is accessed off the Lower Bristol Road.
The most recent additions to this road are the development of the travellers site and redevelopment of the Twerton Mill for purpose built student accommodation.
