Councillor Sarah Moore
Sarah was born in Bath, educated in local schools and has lived in Twerton for over 26 years. She is married with 2 children and is a Invoicing Assurance Co-ordinator for a computer software company where she has worked for over 36 years.
Sarah has been very active across Twerton for a number of years. Sarah was first elected in May 2019 and re-elected in 2023 as one of the two Councillors to represent the area and is the Member Advocate for Accessibility.
She uses her hobby of knitting to raise money for local charities and provide reading aids to local schools and nurseries.
Her key priorities are Accessibility, Education and Housing, to make sure every child is given fair, equal access to well-funded education, get more family homes for local residents and ensure everyone has equal access to places they want to go, eg shops, banks, parks.
Councillor Tim Ball
Tim was born in Bath and educated locally. He is married and has 5 children and 12 grandchildren.
Tim has been serving as Twerton’s voice on the council since 1991. As a Councillor, he has challenged the council on bettering their policies on a vast number of issues. For instance, Tim was able to persuade the council to introduce improved housing standards and restrictions on HMO’s and convince the council to update its autism policies. Tim cares about the wellbeing of the youth and education policy, and pursued funding for a new nursery classroom at the Twerton Infant school, as well as attaining funding for the refitting of windows at St. Michael’s Junior School. Tim was elected again in May 2023 and is the Cabinet Member for Neighbourhood Services.
