Despite organising numerous litter picks and attempting to make our community a cleaner place, some people feel it is acceptable to just dump bags of rubbish wherever and whenever they want.
I met with Curo this morning to discuss specific issues on Twerton High Street, which is not helped by the household rubbish bins being left on the pavement all day, every day as the residents have nowhere to store them.
I am pleased to say the large amount of flytipping has been removed and a few options were discussed during my meeting to find a suitable location for the bins.
I will update you further as soon as a more permanent solution has been agreed.
If, however, you are experiencing issues like this near you in Twerton or Whiteway, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
